By installing or using the Gimme Chrome extension ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Gimme is a free bookmark manager Chrome extension that allows you to save, organize, and sync your bookmarks across devices. The Service includes features such as workspaces, collections, tab saving, search, and import from third-party services.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

4. Account

• Sign-in: You may sign in using Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account.
• No account required: Most features of Gimme can be used without creating an account. Bookmarks are stored locally in your browser unless you sign in to enable sync.
• Account deletion: You may delete your account and all associated data at any time. Contact us at [email protected].

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users' accounts, or our servers.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the Service to store or distribute illegal, harmful, or malicious content.

6. Intellectual Property

• Our Content: The Gimme name, logos, and extension code are owned by the Gimme project and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
• Your Content: You retain all rights to the bookmarks, URLs, and content you save using the Service.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described therein.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including Google OAuth, Convex (backend), Google Analytics, and DataFast. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

9. Disclaimers

• "As is" basis: The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory.
• No warranty: We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Data loss: While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, we do not guarantee against accidental loss. We recommend exporting your bookmarks regularly.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or us.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.
